No sign this morning of the Med Gull present everyday for the last week, but it started well with a Little Ringed Plover, a Red Breasted Merganser 3 Little Gulls a Merlin and at 11.15am another MED GULL what an awesome day again at our local.

Mediterranean Gull

What a stunning few days at our local patch, we found this 1st Winter Med stood on the Tern raft this evening it then stayed until the following saturday a true rarity on our patch and a lifer for some.

Kittiwake

A stunning week so far, two seperate Little Gulls, a Buzzard and an Oystercatcher then this spanking Kittiwake, it flew in at 9.45am and landed out on the lake with black heads untill 10.10am when it flew off north east.

Little Gull

This stunning bird flew in from the north at 6.30pm and landed on the lake, the following evening it flew in at 6.00pm and again landed for half an hour before flying off south, 3 days later a second Little Gull was already on the lake when we arrived it was second summer bird and in moult, it flew north though after only a couple of minutes.
