Most days on the roof of our Cottage, Romania August 2018, property is still quite cheap in Romania and the flights are even cheaper, winters are really cold though with tons of snow, but the summers are awesome, planning on spending some more time here in 2019.

Two birds at Gibraltar Point today both around the info centre.
Leaving Gib we drove to Kirkby then the Eagle came on the pager so we shot off to Lttle Cawthorpe, in four hours we managed to see it twice both times distantly, for such a large bird it was difficult to see.

Cracking male on Lincoln Cathedral
reported in December and again this last week, we found it quite easily perching around the south side, you can park under this side at the weekend, it got mostly around the low roofs to the left of the main tower.

Only the second reserve record, found on the 18th April despite searching not seen again until i found it at 11.00am this morning, three days later


Heard to sing so possibly a first summer male.
