LAPWING

 First ones over my garden for a couple of years, 42 birds circled for a minute then headed off west, 16th February 2024, Lincoln







CANADA GOOSE

 Out of 50 odd birds in this flock present on River Witham only the one bird shows a darker neck sock, all the others i checked are whitish. Lincoln 12th Feb 2024

LITTLE EGRET

 River Witham Lincoln 7th January 2024, one of my favorite birds, increase in sightings this year due to floods, normally one sighting a year if I'm lucky seen twice this year and on 12th Jan there were two birds.

 River Witham 19th January 2024. Five of these stunning Sawbills on the flooded river today, two males and three females, an increase this year no doubt due to the constant flooding.
