Taken in July, and a first for Garden, flew overhead late evening heading east, we get regular Buzzards coming in over the Lincoln edge and Hobby has been regular as well in our area this year, we should get some good migration here in Autumn with birds following Lincoln edge.

A good bird for Boultham Mere, not seen every year, swam about on the lake for a while then climbed up onto raft with Black Headed Gull's

Just checked the date of the last ones i saw at the mere and it was August 2010, 3 birds on the mere this morning, they have been here on and off for a few days.

A really good morning at the pit, 30 odd Whoopers flew low behind the tree line calling at 8.10am, but i was unable to get a clear photo, male and female Shelduck near the hide, first of the year, a single Pink Foot and an Oystercatcher added to the total.
