GOLDEN PHEASANT

We called in briefly at the Sandringham site and was just leaving at 9.45am when these three males walked out onto the road, 20 yards from the traffic flying down the A149, shame the sun was behind them.

Golden Pheasant

Wolferton Triangle Norfolk.
Two birds feeding on verge this morning, this was the second bird, are they pure Golden Pheasants both being 1st Winter males, or are they hybrids.
As we sat in the car watching then the first bird crossed the road in full view, followed by the second bird a minute later, shame about the early morning light.

Golden Pheasant

This was the first of the two birds that crossed the road.
