COLLARED KINGFISHER
Good views again from the Zuari River boat trip. The birds in Goa are of the race vidali with another 49 recognized sub-species ranging across south east Asia to Austrailia, some of these may be invalid and the whole group split

Zuari River Goa, at least 3 pairs on or near nest sites with a few odd birds seen, always a stunning bird to see up this close

COLLARED KINGFISHER
A stunning addition to our Goa list five birds seen plus a further three calling, all along the Zuari River,a bargin at fourteen quid, six species of Kinfishers seen, also Orange breasted Green Pigeon, Lesser Adjuntant,Far Eastern Curlew and Dusky Crag Martin which were also new birds for us, plus supporting birds like Terek Sandpiper, Pacific Goldie, Marsh Sand, Blue faced malkoha and the awesome Muggers.
