BLACK KITE

These are the best perched shots i have seen so far, i'm still not convinced its a pure Black Kite though, its head looks very grey for that species, also the rufous is just to bright and it also appears rufous on the rump, could it be a Hybrid Red X Black Kite or something from the Middle East.

BLACK KITE

RAM FARM NOCTON HEATH LINCOLNSHIRE.
Found by Andy Simms, a cracking bird for Lincoln, did look like a Red Kite though, but no fork in tail when flying and from pictures taken in flight you can see its dropped a finger on each wing, it also looks like the bird over Barton in the spring.
It could also be a hybrid Black X Red Kite
