Ring Billed Gull

Westcliffe On Sea
Very distant out on the sea, a scope needed to find it today, the Ring Billed eventually flew off miles up the estuary mouth towards leigh On Sea.

Ring Billed Gull and Common Gull
On this picture were the two are side by side all the differences can be easily seen, even the mantle colour stands out well, but look at the Bill a really obvious feature.

WESTCLIFF ON SEA SOUTHEND
Found immediatly on arrival sat on the sea with at least eleven Med gulls and loads of Common and Black Heads, pictures taken against the sun but turned out quite well, i also threw it some bread and it virtually landed at my feet, awesome bird.
