GREAT WHITE PELICAN
Burgas Lake 70, Vaya lake 2,450. Most were feeding on private waters behind refinary but they use Vaya lake for roosting. Bulgaria 30th August 2005

GREAT WHITE PELICAN
Bourgas Lake Bulgaria August 2003, first seen from a coach as we were sat in Traffic, a lifer! we then got a taxi for the day and birded the area, which was cheaper than hiring a car.

Bourgas Lake Bulgaria 23rd August 2003, first seen from a coach as we drove past we then went back a few days later in a taxi and had stunning views.
