TUESDAY 31st MARCH 2026

 What a day two new species taking Garden list to 290 these were two EMPEROR MOTHS and the other new species was two  Pammene giganteana-Early Oak Gall Moth, both came to Lures the Pammene to a Fun Lure in a Bucket Trap the Emperors to a Lure suspended of a stick in a Muslin bag in center of front Garden. Then in the Moth trap were 2 Epiphyas Postvittana, a single Brindled Beauty 4th of year, and the fifth of the year a single Common Plume Moth-Emmelina monodactyla along with a Common Quaker and Small Quaker. 10 caught of 7 species, Year list for 2026 in now 27.

A stunning Moth first one i have ever seen or Caught, two came in after 4.00pm to the Pheromone Lure hanging in front Garden 31st March 2026, the 290th Moth for Garden

 This is the Pheromone Trap i used for the Pammene giganteana-Early Oak Gall Moth it came with 3 Pheromone Lures, FUN Lure, from Amazon £12.99, check though as they do several different lures with the Buckets.

 This is the Fourth one i have caught in Garden and all this year, caught this one on the Night of the 31st March 2026, a stunning Moth and very to photograph.

 Single in trap 31st March 2026 giving a year total of 59 so far.

 Despite not looking to bad it went very cold with a clear sky so only one Moth caught a Common Quaker.
