LONG EARED OWL

Hobhole Roost near Boston one of three birds at site, heavy rain all morning and very dark, also 13 little egrets roosting in trees across river but flew as soon as dawn broke.

A distant Black Brant at Gibralter point, feeding out in fields wainfleet side with dark Bellied Brents.

a single bird has been seen at this site every winter since the late 70's normally arriving about mid October and leaving well into March upto 3 birds have occasionally been seen in the late 90's to date
