LITTLE SWIFT singalensis

Goa India 2014. Always a few birds over our hotel, especially last thing at night, used to nest in an unfinished building at the base of Baga hill, single pair under bridge outside Mackies Market

ASIAN PALM SWIFT

Always a few birds in Baga Village on the road down to beach, a few palms along the edge of car park always seem to hold 4 birds, this one on Baga Fields, to fast for me.

PURPLE HERON

Aprora Salt Pans, really hard to get close to Purple Herons, this is the best one in seven years.

COMMON MYNA

Always a few odd birds around the base of Baga Hill, Mackies Market car park and Baga Fields.

MALABAR LARK

Baga fields, fairly easy to see on there, but no doubt the new Sewagw works they are building there will affect many birds that use these fields.

INDIAN BLACK KITE

Must be the Commonest bird in all India. Goa 2014

WHITE BREASTED KINGFISHER

You can not miss this vocal bird in Goa, really pleased its easy to see as its a stunning bird.
