Norfolk

Goose bonanza today the Snow goose showed well though distant at Holkem along with several hundred White fronted Geese, two Black Brants at Titchwell showed well along with these three different Mediterranean Gulls.

Three birds present for most of the winter, then four seen this afternoon though flighty this one eventually gave itself but always remained quite distant.

Lincolnshire

Back in our own county of Lincolnshire today, the White fronted goose was at North Thoresby, other birds seen included a Little Egret at Grainthorpe and 200 Snow Buntings at Donna, back inland at Nocton fen saw a hen harrier, 3 Common Buzzards, 2 Peregrines, 2 Merlins, 4 Barn Owls and 4 Bewicks swans.

Day out to Norfolk started well with golden pheasant at sandringham, Spoonbill and the Lesser Yellowlegs at Stiffkey the ever present Arctic Redpoll and Black Brant at Titchwell
