WHITE BREASTED KINGFISHER

Always a pair around hotel, sitting in trees around pool or perched on the balcony, a second pair behind the buildings give stunning close range views.

Very common in Goa, seen everywere from the forests to the beach, this bird always sits near our door mid-afternoon.

INDIAN ORIENTAL HONEY BUZZARD

Probably breeds in Goa, seems to be present throughout the season, this bird regular off Baga Hill, circling over hotel and away towards Arpora woods.





MALABAR WHISTLING THRUSH

Always a difficult bird to photograph, stunning prolonged views though, Tambi Surla Temple along the river.

Common Goan Bird.
