WHITE STORK

Spion Kop
On the football field and horse paddock, we know its an escape but people were saying it had an injured leg and a rubber band just above the foot, it was walking allright when we were there, and theres no rubber band either.

EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE

One of the best birds i saw, as i walked down a track near hotel i found the first one then two more, this was the last one, all three could be watched flycatching at the same time, they stayed in the same area for a few days then two left and a couple of days later the third one left. Very difficult to identify as several Flycatchers Pewees etc pass through Cuba from North America, i had to identify these from the photos i took, hope they are right.

EASTERN WOOD PEWEE

This was the second bird, perched 20 yards from first.

EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE

This was the first one seen

PALM WARBLER

OVENBIRD

Really hard to see, odd birds just out of hotel grounds, then one popped from behind the leaves of a tree right in front of our balcony, awesome.

NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH

Commonest of the two waterthrushes.
