Grey-cheeked Thrush

Northaw Great Wood Hertfordshire
A stunning little bird that showed well several times on one of the tracks, i managed to get scope views but it was to distant for Digi scoping and the light was not good, i managed a few seconds of very shakey video and got these two as grabs off the tape.

Covenham Reservoir

Red Necked Grebe
With the sun behind the bird i was really pleased to get these two shots, though i did take twenty odd.

Long Tailed Duck
A difficult bird to find but showed well eventually for several minutes untill it flew off up the reservoir.

Grey Phalarope

Covenham Reservoir Lincolnshire
Despite a better day still not a good subject for digi scoping, very active and mobile this morning as well as being to close to the wall.

Covenham Reservoir

Red Necked Grebe
Superb bird but a very bad day for photography, really windy dull and raining with the waves on the reservoir hiding the birds.

Slavonian Grebe
One of three birds along with a Red Necked Grebe.

Grey Phalarope
Raining and blowing a gale when i took this, Phalarope bobbing up and down like a fishing boat in the north sea.
