BULGARIA 17th-31st AUGUST 2003

Our first trip to Bulgaria, we stayed at the Sunny Beach resort not a place for the faint hearted, crime was rife from Gypsy's and the local mafia were always on view, they own most of the change booths, and Prostitutes were everywere, the area was a shit hole literally, with the locals squatting down in the trees for the toilet, rubbish dumped on the edge of the resort and Sunny Beach itself like a massive Blackpool, once away from the resort area the birding was pretty good.
