Dragonflies

TURKEY
Hamit Village along the river.
As well as these two we saw several sp of Dragonflies and Damselfies along the river, also Plain Tiger, Two tailed Pasha Scarce Swallowtail and Swallowtail, several whites Clouded Yellow and hundreds of Langs Short tailed Blue.



Jersey Tiger

Found by Ilker in the canyon, we also saw a Red Underwing sp, and several Butterflies including Plain Tiger and Swallowtail.

Bat

Bat sp Saklikent gorge, our friend Ilker Erkan found a couple of dead bats, we then came across this one still alive, it had an injury just above its right arm, and there is blood on the stones around it, slightly bigger than a pip?

Crabs

Several of these from thumb to hand size kept me entertained while the wife sun bathed on the beach.

Though a poor picture, it can be easily compared with the Collared below, this bird was also calling i then picked up a second sat close to this one.

The only one seen, present for about five days in a flooded field, feeding under fruit trees with a Squacco heron.
