INDIAN BLUE ROBIN

SATURDAY 4TH APRIL 2015 MAYEM LAKE GOA INDIA
First seen low down in foliage with its back to us, we thought it was a Tickell's Blue Flycatcher, then it turned and we saw the wacking great white supercillium, stunned by this i missed my chance to get a picture, the Robin then flew up the valley and out of sight, several minutes later while scanning i came across it perched out in the open giving stunning views, by the time i pointed it out it had moved again, we still had stunning views but in the foliage, an always wanted bird for me in Goa.

INDIAN SPOT BILLED DUCK

BLACK WINGED KITE

Just a stunning bird, two were present through out the three weeks around the Electric Sub-station in Arpora-Nagoa, always flighty though, and every time you stop to get pics the Indians gather to see what your doing thus making the Kite's fly off.

GREAT CRESTED TERN

Zuari River boat trip, on the posts mid river other side of Zuari Bridge from slip.

WOOLLY NECKED STORK

Good numbers around this time, seem to be on the increase in Goa. Taken over Baga and Arpora.
