GOA INDIA

This is the last of my GOA pics, just uploaded two pages worth, have a look some stunning birds seen in a stunning Country.

INDIAN LESSER SPOTTED EAGLE







A very unusual pale looking INDIAN LESSER SPOTTED EAGLE, its all down to the shape of the nasal hole, round it Spotted, oval in Tawny, also on the pics below the feathering does not go right down to the feet. Goa march 2012.

A new bird for me in Goa, funny though been here four times before and never seen any, then this year we saw them over Baga Fields and our Hotel, Baga Hill, Calangute and Nagoa

Beautiful bird, no breeding recorded in Arpora Woods this year. Goa 2012

WHITE BELLIED BLUE FLYCATCHER


Tambi Surla Temple, a stunning bird we have seen a female a few years back at Bondla, this male sat in full view for several minutes with a Tickell's Blue Flycatcher, awesome.

LESSER WHISTLING DUCK

Carambolin Lake Goa India April 2012, very common on this lake into the hundreds.
