OSPREY

Good news, our Osprey was ringed at a site in Sutherland, on July 9th 2008, one of three in the nest, and a female on measurements, the other two were NM and NN, pics below of the ringers.

HONEY BUZZARD

What a day, two Honey Buzzards over, 3 Common Buzzards a Hobby and the Osprey,two Green sands and Hundreds of Meadow pipits.

Flew in at 10.58 and circled until we last saw it at 11.20am, we had just watched a Honey Buzzard pass over when the Osprey hit the water in the south east corner, stunning.

Though present for twenty minutes or so only dived twice, no fish caught.
