Mongoose

These two stunning creatures were right below us at the Bier Mar Hotel.

MUGGER

Awesome Beast seen on the Kingfisher trip, this is a 70 year old male, about 16ft long and around half a ton, a fish eater,  we also saw a smaller one at Carambolin lake basking in the sunshine.

STRIATED HERON

Arpora Goa 2009 in our Hotel Grounds This awesome little heron had learnt to pick up the bread thrown by the Tourist and use it for fishing, it would soak the bread then shake it into smaller bits, it would then place the bread on the waters surface, hundreds of little fish would then rush in and the Heron wouls snatch them up.

BROWN HAWK OWL

BROWN HAWK OWL

GREY JUNGLEFOWL MALE
