CUBAN EMERALD

Stunning little bird endemic to Cuba, pair always in Hotel gardens. This is a female

BLACK THROATED BLUE WARBLER

Very common in Cuba, we had a male everyday coming to Cake outside our room, stunning birds.



CUBAN VIREO

Much easier to see this year, endemic to Cuba, called frequently and at times sounded like Red Eyed Vireo.


BLUE WINGED TEAL

Always out of sight under mangroves, appears to be common enough in Cuba.




GREAT BLUE HERON

Seen most days on lake between hotels, Cuba


YELLOW FACED GRASSQUIT

Common around any rough areas in Cuba, several in Hotels garden and along track edges along main road.
