Verreaux's Eagle Owl

We were really lucky with these birds, a female was on a nest which is were all the bird guides take you too, our taxi driver went up the track to turn around and flushed a large owl which flew off into a tree, he located it then came and fetched us, and not one but two Verreaux's Owls were in the tree, we had stunning views of them several times in flight, but the only pics i managed were these two against the sun.
