GLOSSY IBIS

HOWDENS PULLOVER LINCOLNSHIRE
A much needed bird for the Lincs listers last one was as long ago as 1976, we arrived late morning after seeing the Cattle Egret (below) the Glossy was distant feeding in wet rank grass near Highland Cattle, it gave good views for half an hour then flew a short distance out of sight, several minutes later it flew several hundred yards and landed well out of view.
