Another really good Night for Mothing, two traps out Triple in Back and a single in front , a record 618 Moths were caught of 92 Species, though 250 were of the same species the Water Venner, there were 8 New for the Year with 3 of them New for the Garden.
Year list is now 366 and Overall Garden List at 442.
Another 33 Common Footman counted in this record year for them, other Good Moths were a Black Arches and another 7 Scalloped Oak along with 17 Riband Wave, a record 10 Dwarf Cream Wave and 3 Buff Tips, 3 Species of Hawk Moth, 2 Elephant a Privet and second Garden record of Pine.
June has been outstanding for Mothing due to the constant high temperatures through out the Month
