SUNDAY 26th APRIL 2026

 A very good night Mothing with 33 caught of 17 Species, 8 new for year and 4 of those new for Garden taking list to 304 species and 54 so far this year. Highlights were Brimstone Moth new for year as was a Pale Mottled Willow and only my second but new for year Common Pug. And then a Tachystola acroxantha-Australian Orange Tip New Moths for Garden were a very smart Red Twin-Spot Carpet a rather nice Bee Moth-Aphomia sociella, then a dark form of Prays fraxinella-Ash Bud Moth, followed by an absolute stunning little Micro a Tinea trinotella-Triple Spotted Nest Moth. A good record was two Garden Mompha-Mompha subbistrigella, a couple of Double Striped Pugs my second Waved Umber and two Garden Carpets. Eight Shuttle Shaped Darts and & Epiphyas Postvittana-Light Brown Apple Moth made up the numbers. Beautiful Plume, Brindled Beauty, and White Shouldered House Moth were the rest.
