A really good night weather wise 8th April so both Traps put out one in front with a single 20w actinic and the double in the back garden, both did ok with 50 Moths caught of 21 Species, 7 new for the year with 5 of these new for Garden taking my Garden list to 297sp, and so far this year 37sp. I put the EMP Lure out and netted 4 Emperors with a missed one so five, and 2 Pammene giganteana to FUN Lure in Bucket, new moths as follows Two Foxglove Pug, and Two Oak Tree Pug, along with a single Herald and a stunning Waved Umber all in Back Garden then a Mompha jurassicella-Obscure Mompha in front Garden Trap. Other highlights were 3 Common Plume and 3 Beautiful Plume my second Garden Early Thorn 10 Double Striped Pugs, 2nd Streamer, and 3 Many Plumed Moth new for year, two Early Grey first of the year Diamond Back Moth-Plutella xylostella and a Brindle Beauty.
